NCERD observes Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The National Centre for Educational Resource Development (NCERD) has joined other local bodies to show their support for those who survived breast cancer, those who are fighting it and those who lost the battle with this dreaded disease.
The walk started at the NCERD’s office in Kingston, Georgetown, and culminated at the Kitty roundabout.
During her brief remarks, the Director of NCERD, Omawattie Ramdin, emphasised the seriousness and expressed gratitude to those who helped make the event possible. She further stressed the need for individuals to be kind to each other, noting that people often go through difficult times silently, and that words have the power to either break or encourage.
