The walk started at the NCERD’s office in Kingston, Georgetown and culminated at the Kitty roundabout. In brief remarks, the Director of NCERD, Quenita Walrond- Lewis encouraged the participants to get screened for all forms of cancer, noting early detection can save many lives.

“It is also time to think about those suffering from and living with cancer; generally anyone who is sick or suffering needs a collective, positive focus for healing energy. So, it is in that spirit we are here today,” she said.
