Edyou FM’s Intermediate Spanish Course Commences

EdyouFM’s Intermediate Level Spanish course commenced on Monday March 4, 2024, at the National Centre for Education Resource Development (NCERD).
This is the second level of the Spanish programme which began in October 2023 and concluded in December 2023. The 25 students who are participating in this part of the programme, have successfully completed the Beginner Level and have, therefore, been promoted to the Intermediate Level.
Mrs. Latoya Atwell
Bilingual Educator, Mrs. Latoya Atwell, who facilitated the training at level one, will continue to work with the students throughout this second phase of the programme.
Director of NCERD, Oma Ramdin
During her opening remarks, Director of NCERD Mrs. Omawattie Ramdin commended the EdYouFM team for tangibly supporting President Ali’s mission to ensure that Guyanese learn Spanish as a second language. Moreover, Mrs. Ramdin urged the attendees to continue to practise and improve their knowledge of the language so that they could add to the number of Spanish Language translators and educators in the country.
