Graduating Class
On Friday June 28, 2024, EdYou Fm’s Intermediate Level Spanish course culminated in an intimate graduation ceremony at the National Centre for Education Resource Development (NCERD).
The course, which was attended by staff of the Ministry of Education and other government entities, began in March 2024. It was a continuation of the previous level, Spanish for Beginners. This programme is in accordance with President Dr. Irfaan Ali’s mission to ensure that Guyanese learn Spanish as a second language.
During her address to the students, facilitator Mrs. Latoya Yahya-Atwell expressed her satisfaction with her students’ performance and
commended them for completing this level. She urged them to continue practising the language and offered to support their continued efforts to become even more proficient in Spanish.
